e tend to hold ourselves to a higher standard than we do others in our liv

set for ourselves. What if\, when struggling\, your instinct was to motiv
ate yourself through encouragement rather than self-criticism? This worksh

.\n\nIn this workshop\, you will:\n\n * Learn about the elements of sel
 f-compassion\, including self-kindness\, mindfulness and common humanity\n
   * Look at reducing self-criticism: learn about becoming an “inner al
ly” instead of an “inner enemy.”\n * Instead of criticism\, respo
nd to feelings of failure or inadequacy with kindness towards ourselves.\n
   * Develop self-compassionate strategies so that you can learn to treat
yourself like you treat a loved one.\n * Learn about how to develop mo
