Good thinking! Sign into Okta, then click on your name in the upper right hand corner and click ”Settings.” If you have already verified your identity as part of the log in process, you’ll fill out the three fields under the “Change Password” header. If those fields don’t appear, you’ll want to click the green “Edit Profile” button above the header, then follow the prompts to confirm your identity. After confirming your identity, you’ll be able to reset your password using the three fields as normal.

Okta allows you to sign in even when your password has expired. Simply enter your old password, and you’ll be prompted to set a new password after verifying your identity. After you set a new password, you’ll be able to sign in with it to all your Vivint sites and apps, either by visiting them or by clicking on their links through the Okta dashboard.

Click on “Need help signing in?” above, then click on “Forgot Password?” Put in your Vivint username, then click the blue “Reset via SMS” button. Provide the one time code sent to your phone, then answer your security question. You will be able to enter your new password at that time. After you set a new password, you’ll be able to sign in with it to all your Vivint sites and apps, either by visiting them or by clicking on their links through the Okta dashboard.
